University Life

I haven't wrote a post in a few weeks and even though I've only started my blog last month I have really missed it. I've not been away through choice its just a very exciting time of my life has begun. I have finally packed my bags and moved into my halls of residence in London city.

Moving can be a very big deal for anyone, especially when you have moving out of you family home for the first time to live alone. But moving 3 hours away from anyone I know has proven to be an extremely emotional roller coaster. Whilst I am having an amazing time and meeting lots of new people and basically starting my life its also very stressful and overwhelming. So I'm not going to dwell on how much I'm missing back home to much, my main reason of this post was for one to update you on what I'm doing, and to, to give you guys a few ways to make your student room feel a bit more homely, if you are planning on going to university in the coming years.

So first of, the rooms will be small whatever university you go to! So its important to not take to much stuff as you don't want to clutter your room up as soon as you get there. I just took all my main things I needed clothes, make-up, jewellery, my camera etc. But everything else I left because I knew if I needed to I could get them next time I visit home. Now I took quite a few little bits and bobs to make my room feel more like my own, although its not perfect at the moment there are a few more bits I want to get from home, I  am loving it right now and to be honest it really does help me when I'm having a bit of a down day. So heres some pictures to give you some examples.
